The Old Barn Bed and Breakfast in Brenchley, 6 miles from both Tunbridge Wells (often depicted as 'Royal' Tunbridge Wells!) and Tonbridge, Kent, is in the South-East corner of England, also known as 'The Garden of England'. It is a comfortable converted former farm building dating from 1760 and is surrounded by lovely gardens.
Our house is tucked away amongst productive farmland in a lovely quiet backwater in the Kentish Weald, adjacent to a golf course, and the perfect base from which to explore the vast array of attractions which the area has to offer - historic buildings (including 10 owned by the National Trust), gardens, natural scenery, wildlife, museums, vineyards, steam trains, cycling, walking, shopping, antiques and unique Wealden villages.

The Old Barn is in the heart of the Kent countryside with views to The Downs, yet near all the major routes to London, the West Country and Cross-Channel routes to Europe. The local railway station at Paddock Wood has frequent direct trains to London, which is only a 50-minute journey.

We have a large driveway where you can safely leave your car.

Whether you are looking for a complete holiday or a couple of nights away you can be assured of a warm welcome and a relaxing break in an unspoilt and uncrowded corner of England, even in the height of the season.

There are plenty of footpaths in the area, see (see www.walkinginkent.co.uk) and we welcome walkers and cyclists alike.
